My hidden story

I've seen my darkest hours
I've felt my days so long
I've felt the rain inside me slowly washing my smile away
But yet that doesn't matter
Simply only because,
I now see the colors of the rainbow
I see the stars shine bright,
I know that deep inside I love you

Ill start at the beginning
Everything so great and new
You swept me off my feet, I instantly fell for you,
And then there came a day
When you said goodbye
And even though you promised me that everything would be alright
Deep inside I was afraid
However, Since I really liked you
I took a chance and brushed my fears away

And then suddenly,
You left me!
You were a thousand miles away
I tried my best to make it work
Yet it didn't turn out that way
As the days went by
My days turned into nights
My fears revealed instantly coming to life,
As The pain began to grow
A grudge growing inside
What seemed like promises slowly turned into lies

Once again we're reunited
But my feelings set on hold
A stranger you became
But I couldn't let you go
The feelings all rushed back at once
all the memories knocking at my door
The feelings i tried to hide Came to Haunt me once more.
I kept my distance afraid from all the pain, I knew it would be easy to fall for you again.
As the time went by
Nothing seem to change
Even though I had you close you felt so far away.

Yet there came a day
When I couldn't take no more
If ONE day you STOOD beside me
That day I STOOD ALONE!
I had lost myself within your eyes
But I knew I had to let you go
And when I finally tried
When My mind was made up and my heart had enough of all the pain
You took me by surprise
And you changed my life that day.

Now I see the sky isn't always so blue it has a shade of grey
And even after a rain storm
A ray of light always finds a way
I now know you love me
For you tell me every day
I think about this journey and how we've come such a long way
I wouldn't change the past
it made our love strong it made us who we are today.
Ive come to understand
Your walls we're built so high
And even though it took some time for you to love me
I've loved you from the start.

    That's so beautiful.I can relate to your internal struggle over one you love, the pain and confusion because you love them so much yet they walk away as though it were nothing more than dust on their shoes, but when they return, as hard as you try to ignore it, there's music so loud within your heart and soul, and even though promises turned to lies once upon a time, they become simple misunderstandings and the floodgates of your heart open right up again until one day something happens in you both,his heart opens and your vision is cleared, and suddenly his love for you is unquestionable no matter the situation, even if you're apart you can sleep with peace of heart knowing that you're the one in his dreams that night.I love it
