Can't Wake Me Up

by frozen rose   Dec 24, 2012

I'm falling in a sea of despair
Nothing you say can help me to repair
I'm caught in a wave of confusion
Restricted within the boundries of my illusion
Pulling me away from the surface so I can't awaken
Into my foggy unconcious mind I'm taken
As you speak it echos in my ears
And I stare at my shattered image in the mirror
Why do you crave my suffering and pain?
My blood is pouring down like rain
You can't wake me up, you went to far this time
You committed the perfect crime
Forever unconcious, I sleep hereafter
But I still hear your evil, sinful laughter
It haunts the darkness you put me in
I'm stuck in the dismal sky within
In the deep slumber I'll always remain
You caused me to sleep forever in pain

I love the way you make things rhyme . you choose the most brilliant words. this is so dark. definitely one of my favorites.

Your poems are somewhat scary sometimes, but anyways, I must say that you did a good job as usual. A very good poem.
