Silk Anniversary

by Richard S   Dec 26, 2012

Translucent strands,
Carefully woven into something beautiful,
With shimmering threads,
From gentle souls.

Complete transformations,
Wrapped in silk cocoons.
Unraveled and reformed,
For added strength.

Fabric that endures,
In its simple beauty,
And yet can be sewn,
Into something quite complex.

After four years,
Share my loom,
And weave the silk,
That has become our life.
