Damaged

A shattered glass
A forgotten outcast
Frowning at every countless flaw
I used to think I had it all
But you didn't think so
Now I want to know

Where will I go now that I'm torn ?
Who will help me help myself ?

Dead end paths
My heart's in the trash
And my spirit is lost in space
It's read all over my face
I've given you everything
With nothing in return

Where will I go now that I'm broken ?
Who will tell me that it'll be okay ?

Get this elephant out of the room
We all know what you came here to do
I already know you had so much to prove
But did you have to prove that I'm weak ?

The strum of my guitar
The dulling of the stars
It's obvious of what's happening here
I'm choking on my tears
You don't have to care
Cause it's not like you were going to

Where will I go now I'm damaged ?
Who will guarantee that I'll live on ?

    I like the metaphor really badly since it's really nice way to say "spit it out don't be shy and uncomfortable" lol but besides that i really love the emotions coming off from this poem the pain is there and it's intense yet in a way you can see a little part of yourself in this poem for many have had this in their lives no if ands or buts sorry folks we all know we have this in our lives at least some part! 5/5 great poem sweetie
