Comments : A Shade Called Grey

Sometimes the blending of two opposites creates a uniqueness and a similarity but sometimes those opposites are more alike than they know.
Sometimes fear overpowers the real souls inside of us.

The wording in this was strong and powerful, the emotionally strength portrayed and the anger that came with it is at either ends of the spectrum yet it worked amazingly well.

    This piece is brilliant.

Grey is not so bad.. it's in betweeen the white and black. Can I say they are balance? This piece is Pretty creative, and it makes me think about mysefl somehow.

    oh and this stanza...

"Some how our shades fail to
    meet in one palette;"

    The word some how...
I believe it should be somehow... together.

Brilliant. You are an artist and a creative one. I loved the usage of paint and love and the metaphor fitted well. The story you paint here is sad and I am confused why you categorized this poem as miscellanous, might be the topic and the emotions made you term this that way:/
Some people are always special, regardless of whether they reciprocate to you in that way or not, and their existence makes you fall for them. You try your best to make happiness with them, but when they aren't in you, the palette of our love remains colourless and dull. I am so much at awe with your poem, it makes me read this piece thousand times and the essence of this piece is like coffee for me, it will stay with me for long. And I loveeeee the ending of how, whatever efforts you made to make your love feel the same as you do, you paint life with brightness and your love with sadness and it results into nothing but a hue of sadness.
This is truly an amazing piece and you always pen of this love and somewhere I got your story, in various forms and styles but the emotions are the same.
    Beautiful and excellent!!!

Wow!! Meme I'm speechless.... this poem is so beautifully written. The title caught my eye, and then I was captivated from the start. I love how you compared yourself and this person to a painting... and how your colors can never mix and form a still painting. It was such a beautiful touch. I really enjoyed that. The title was absolutely perfect for this poem. I love it so much!!!

Sometimes people don't end up being soulmates after all. Time tells both what differences they have that will never be resolved. Leaving them to do nothing but part from each other. Nice write.

Meme, I have read and reread this piece so many times and although it makes me sad I cannot help but to read it again. Wanting to blend two lives together and create a loving masterpiece is something, I believe, everyone wants in life. To find that one person that completes us, that fills that emptiness inside. So to read how you flourish when apart from each other but not when together is so heartbreaking. I could go on and on but I will stop here and just say, the flow is flawless, I love all the metaphors and Meme, you, the poet, paint words with a pen just like the artist paints canvas with a brush and this piece is priceless...
