This piece is very powerful Khalid and it rings true in my heart as well... I too have a person in my heart that I try to "forget" but until the day I pass on... I will still think of them and love them.. always.. this was touching...

This is the feeling you get when you hope for things to turn back the right way, the way it use to be..all good, happy and complete in all sense but then you realize it's not possible for now and at last one accepts this painful reality and moves on.

Love this! It's the story of my life, lol. Like the other comments have already stated, this is a small poem that packs a big punch. It's a life lesson in 9 lines, which is amazing, within of itself. It reminds me off all of the times I've said this to myself but failed to follow through. I think I should favorite this, so I don't forget this time. Great job!

The end totally stunned me for quite 35 seconds. It is undeniable. And yet's sharp. And the real meaning behind this piece will totally be absorbed by whom has actually experienced it.
