This is one of the most polished poems I have ever read on here. It is written by a real pro.
I just love every single line in this.
This is the first poem I have read on here and thought.......F@CK I wish I had written this.
    Awesomeness personified.
Going into that rare club called my favourites.

I aways envy the poets such as yourself that flow without a blatant rhyme scheme
I have been accused of forcing the rhyme when I felt it was the rhyme and reason that forced me. That is enough about me because your demons are about us and you have accepted a gift. You deserve an award, though, for sharing

And I always envy the poets with the ability to conform to rhyme, meter and form ;)
      Thank you Michael.

Congratulations on the win!!! I love the passion in which I read from this, those one lines themselves I feel are so strongly crafted- they have an independent voice, yet show that sometimes indescribable relationship when writing. Well-expressed :]

This is perfect. I totally love this. Every piece of it was completely true, and I've never read anything that expressed something like this.

Imagery evoked by the closeness of the writer and reader - total perfection.

I have read this 3 or 4 times now and I am honestly blown away at such strength of writing contained in such a small piece.
I cannot think of a better way of describing poetry writing than this. Line 2 is absolutely genius. So 'matter of fact' but so true. I also think the term 'intellectual intercourse' is brilliant.
The whole thing has such a professional polish about it.
It is clever how the author suggests that reading her poetry is her sharing her demons with you. They climb inside your head and become your demons too. It compliments the word choice 'exorcism' earlier on. But the best thing is we are shown poetry as something different, it does become our demon. I bet everybody on this site can think of a poem that effected them in some way that they read as a child. Great write.

Might as well add a third comment to this purely to bump it up high so that newer members can marvel at its genius.
