As I lay in the dark waters,
Hearing so many sad voices crying out my name,
It all starts to sound the same,
And then I hear a man's voice call me babe,

They know I was a vixen doll queen,
But to him I was tame,

Then I start to ponder when will this insanity end?

Going back in time,
Seeing how it all truly began,
How a man and a woman met under certain circumstances,

When will a love story differ from the repeated others?

Upon that dark light,

That saw through all my lies,

When you find out I have been hurt that badly,

Let the concerns float away,
So I can hear,
