Sleep is my rescue

by Bryanna   Jan 17, 2013

Sleep is my rescue.
I lay to die every night.
Hoping I shall never awake from it.
Praying this life is nothing but a nightmare.
Yet if it is all a nightmare.
Won't another lost soul wake me?
See that I've been laying long enough.
Sleep is my rescue.
Have I sinned to much in this nightmare I was forced upon?
I was placed here expected to fix everything.
Yet how is that possible when everything in me is broken.
This nightmare has taken all possible tolls on me.
When shall I be pure enough to be free and awoken.
Sleep is my rescue.
If this may be a nightmare.
Should I fear the awakening?
Could I be strong enough to live?
Am I worthy enough?
Sleep is my rescue.
I wish to be woken from this world.
I wish for a chance to live in the real world.
Yet if I never receive that.
I wish to stay sleeping in this nightmare.
In my frozen state.
As if I were dead.
The only place I shall only feel safe.
Sleep is my rescue

A real dark one, somewhat very angry too. Nicely written, but the title was the one that really caught my attention, keep it up.
