I will wait

by Valiantpenguin   Mar 1, 2013

I yearn to feel you in my arms.
To roll together like clouds in the sky.
I'll never stop wanting you and I.
Stuck somewhere unknown to me.
I know I'll survive.
But shall I forget the soft brown of your skin.
The water droplets glistening in your hair.
Or perhaps the warm strength of your arms around me.
those lips so sweet and those eyes so entrancing.
So many things I never thought to be without.
And shall you forget me while you're away.
All the times we laughed and played.
The sweet things we would say only to each other.
Maybe that song was right
You'll find your way back if you need to walk
A thousand miles could never keep our love apart
But distance is a foe that we can beat
My love I'll stay here ever waiting
While you're away don't fear me straying
No man or woman could compare
To the things you make me feel
A day or year may come to pass
But here I'll stay for you
