Afterlife

by WintersAngel   Mar 27, 2013

Death surrounds me.
I'm left all alone.
Light fades from where I stand.
Beauty from those I've known.

Angels above me.
Call out my name.
Whisper in the dark.
I'll never be the same.

Rain falls on me.
Yet I can't feel.
I'm soaking wet.
But I'm not real.
