Crashing Waves

by Alleycat   Apr 1, 2013

The sounds of the waves crashing,
the sorrow and pain passing,
thinking more of the world than it could ever be,
and from what it really is you would flee,
the waves so soothing to your mind,
with such peace you hope to find,
not thinking of what you will leave behind,
and only dreaming of what you will find.
However the sorrow and scars you leave will be deep
and the rode to their recovery will be steep,
tears will stain the faces you love,
even if you have risen above,
so please come back away from the edge,
I will always lend a hand to help you away from the ledge,
nothing you are thinking or feeling is wrong,
I will stay by your side and help you be strong,
take my hand and I will help you stand on your own,
but I promise you that you will never be alone.
