Ash (I love you and hate you)

by La Reina De Corazones   Apr 1, 2013

She lays in my arms,
Fragile was she,
Now she lays with eyes that cannot see,
Tender was her heart,
But that in the end was the thing
that made her this way,

Beautiful in the inside,
Others had loved to use her,
Never would they see the strength that she hid,
Just daring her to break,

The moonlight shines in her hair now,
The stars weep as they say goodbye
to their once ago mistress,
The planets say hello to their new queen,
But you put a rose in her hair
as you say "I'm sorry",

The kiss of death takes her over,
No longer alive she lets go,
And begins a new journey into a haven

Don't let go of yourself... But a beautiful poem, though it's sad seeing as how it talks of a part of you dying... I like this one a lot, this one in particular speaks to me very loudly. Amazing job, Ash.
