Elements

Only the fire knows the distinctions between you & me -
our favorite element from Monday to Monday when we levitate, listening to the strange noise your Feng Shui water fountain makes in the garden.

you told me we need some fresh air, the telluric force of earth beneath our trembling feet. you say things i can't comprehend.my limitations increase every day as you repeat your mantras, trying or finding a sacred deeper meaning in life.

i can't connect with the universe; you said i'm too young to be so coward.i am.

you always put yourself close to the clouds & far from my cosmetic cosmos/chaos & i see no necessity of being a mature person.

you are always one step ahead, re-electrifying my horizons. I can only ask you: "how'd you get there?"

but you never look back and i am too old to believe our cosmic debt or even the elements shall keep us whole.
