Darkness (collab)

by La Reina De Corazones & Daylight Lucidity   Apr 4, 2013

The forest surrounds me, I'm trapped amongst the confines of trees
The sun disappeared with the eerie howl of a flesh craving wolf
The cries of the raven, the call of the crow drowns my screams
Twigs snap awfully loud, it becomes harshly cold.

Death breathes down my neck, blowing flames of ice
I shiver in consuming fear, hatred burning red,
Scared as I am i still see, the poison lies,
Trapped as I am, he still finds me,
No sense of hope i lay there to his touch,
The urge to escape has long evaded me
Though I submit to his torture unwilling and crying
While his skeletal fingers roam over my body
Scratching his signature into my skin, upon a pool of my blood I am laying,
He binds my soul with such brutal force,
Yet he lays a ring upon my finger,
So this would be the end of me
his soon to be wife,
Marriage I knew long before would be the end of me
I sign myself away to be handled by hell's master
Knife to my neck he drags my from this forest
Leading me to my doom- our home, our life- I plead I am not what he's after,
Yet he smiles darkly,
Says I'm everything and more!!!
Pure is not what you are,
And that's the fuel that burns my fires!
And I inhale the sulfur that wafts from the floor
Brimstone the only aroma of which I am familiar
And of this life, I wish to live no more
For Death has stolen my innocence, my soul, and my will to fight any longer.
Bringing his knife back to my throat
I threaten to slice it if he shan't have the Gaul,
The darkness eats all of my sight
And slowly, heavily, fall...
Into the abyss of darkness,

A throne is where I sit and stand alone,
No longer sweet Death's my slave!
