Their Story

She swept into the room,
the epitome of grace.
People all entranced,
by the beauty in her face.

He walked in her direction,
unsure of what to say.
He'd sweep her off her feet,
he had to find a way.

She stared at his approach,
knowing his intent.
She listened to him fumble,
worsening as he went.

Inside he felt defeated,
he couldn't win her heart.
But little did he know,
this was just the start.

She smiled at his attempt,
she knew he was sincere.
She stepped a little closer,
and whispered in his ear.

"You can breathe, it's ok,
Your doing just fine.
Sit here with me,
I want you by my side."

    Awwwwww!!!! this made me want to cry!! i mean this is the absolute meaning of love how it has to conquor both your fears and shyness to try to get the person you most desire...also this is what i would want one day lol but for me it would be for a girl sorry lol either way it's SUPER cute! :) 5/5

    I lovec this! Very well written. And i love the pride and prejudice type feel of this and how it flows as a poem but is like a short story. Well done!! :)
