Resiled Happiness

Each drop was competing
in a perfect choreography;
and there I was, just like a
kid with opened palms trying
to catch each and every
one of them.

I stood there with closed
eyes and I just listened to the
melodic sounds of every beat
as the sky prospered, sending all
those blessings upon the trees.

And I kept reminding myself to..

Breathe-
because its possible to resurrect
every shattered feeling.

Breathe-
and sway your thoughts with
movements of droplets upon
your skin.

Breathe-
because with every breath
life is reborn within your soul.

Breathe-
and remember you are a part
of natures orchestra simply
when you breathe.

    Loved the way the last few stanzas had the feel of taking an actual breath! You really captured the ebb and flow of it. Beautiful!

    You remind me of a friend's words, " with every breath, you can be anytig you will"
    Love ending lines, " ...a part of nature orchestra...."

    Wow I love this poem... the opening stanza was my favorite part. It was so original. I love the idea of trying to catch raindrops. It was beautiful. I love the repetition of 'breathe' it really emphasized the positivity you were trying to portray.

    Meme- This piece truly gave me goosebumps, really adore the format of elegant repetative tone of the word "breathe"- What I like about it so much is, it made me feel as I read it of rain actually falling down on my face... it was calming... beautiful poem!!
