Damn The World

Damn the world.
The world is doomed.
I don't care who you blame.
Wether it's in Gods or Allah's name .
It never did a thing for me
and all I did was give a damn.
Merely plant a piece of me
but all I reaped was heinous words.
So let it all be scorched,
men killed and women raped.
For I stopped caring.
Not sure why I even bothered.

    Wow, Thomas! This is truly a powerful, raw piece!

    You can tell you are definitely stricken with frustration here, and times like these with all the shootings and terrorism going around, it's often that I hear these same feelings from numerous people.

    I'm glad you was able to use poetry as a release!
