I'm Fine

"I'm fine."
The most common lie.
We say it cause we don't want them to know how we truly feel.
We don't want them knowing how we are:
Broken
Scared
Depressed
Lost
Lonely
Hurting
Dying
Or how we are simply Broken.

We hide behind lies cause we don't want them to know...
That we are not "fine" and that we are trying to not be so anxious and empty.
We don't want them to know that we hurt when they are away,
Or how our hearts break a little more each time we see them,
We don't want them to know how we truly are,
So we say one line, one sentence to sum everything up in a single lie...

"I am fine."
