Goodbye

"Goodbye"
Are the words spoken from my loves lips
Even with a promise of "forever"
I don't understand what I did wrong
How this could happen
This can't be the end
I want so much to beg u to stay
Feel ur warm body close to mine
Your breath on my lips
As u come close for a kiss
I long to hear ur voice say "l love u"
Be wrap so tight in ur arms
Be showerd in ur love
but its not what I hear
Its a heart breaking "goodbye"
And soon to come a thousand tears to cry.

    I would avoid the harshness in Goodbye after your poem

    This is so sad, I was trying so hard not to bawl my eyes out as I read it, this is truly sad and a devastating poem, but wonderful writing!
