I admire your strength Chelsey, and also your willingness to help others, to forgive, to love, but you know that nobody is perfect.
I see you reach out to God, and I know he hears you, because he gives you that strength, you have it inside you, but he allows you to find it.

I really love your poems, especially when you incorporate your faith into it, and when it is based on that, they always speak volumes and I know that so many others can find comfort from this piece, they can take something from it, regardless of their faiths and religions, and beliefs.

You speak in a way that is easy to understand but means a lot and can be powerful and deep on so many levels,

    Another awesome piece of poetry!

God is good even when we are not.

So many times we forget (in the midst of our sins) that he sees and knows all but still he holds us like the loving father he is, until we are strong enough to stand alone. ,

"Help me to care as much as You, forgive
the way You do, sacrifice the way You do."

Ah let us all be more like Christ!

    Nice write Chels

Wow, Chelsey, this poem is amazing. I absolutely loved every word. I like how as the reader we can assume you're speaking to God, and I presume you are? I like how it is as if you are speaking to him, or even writing a letter to him. I've never read a poem like that before.

I really enjoyed this piece, and felt the depth you expressed. I almost felt like you were expressing some sort of hatred or resentment you feel towards yourself, and how you feel God shouldn't forgive you or love you. I could relate to that. There are times when I think about the bad things I've done and it makes me wonder if I deserves God's forgiveness and love... so your poem really got me thinking.

I can't say more just how affected I was by this beautiful poem of yours. Your poetry has a way of affecting me <3

    Loved it!!! Great job!

This poem has a grammar mistake in the first stanza that made me think twice about giving it a ten.. but that third stanza alone is proof enough that this needs to be seen by people. The third stanza is what makes the poem for me.. It's absolutely gorgeous and so full of faith it warms my heart. We can turn to God any time and ask Him for anything.. and thats proof right here. Help us be more like Him, if only we could be. He shows us so much mercy and grace, love and forgiveness that it really overwhelms a person. This poem made me think, and made me realize a lot about myself as well. Really a beautiful poem.
