*tear* soooooo happy to see this.

Its heart breaking it really is...but I'm glad youre realizing the only way to move on and get past the "funk" is to get back to living...besides we all know Mama P would tell your ass to write and read!!

Even though I know the story and pain behind it, I found such beauty it this. I almost feel it shouldnt be categorized as sad because youre finding hope again.

I love youuuuu and I'm glad youve decided to give this a go again and normalize your life as best you can. Cant wait to start reading the works of infamous andrea again :)

I agree with Chels that its more hopeful than sad so doesn't entirely fit with the category but we know the story and heartache that it holds, and it brought tears to my eyes reading it, and also a smile that you were beginning to find some light.

Reading this, it just reminded me of how great a person you are and how great a writer you are too, the emotion here is evident and like the title, it is pure.

Sometimes we need to be free of restrictions and let ourselves be heard and I hear you.

I love you, so much and am glad to see you writing once again

Wow, you have such a strong heart Andrea that I know is full of love, and Mama Pike would be so proud to see this...I'm happy you're back writing too and I know this will reach people too, the emotion is beautiful, pure, and filled with remembrance....I know your struggle, but since I wasn't in your shoes, I can't imagine the pain and loss....time helps I think, but also knowing you will never forget her and she will be a part of your life. Like you said in your poem, sometimes you just have to write, no matter in what way, but having less restrictions will help move on. This was so sweet and shows the fighter you are for life and taking each breath at a time!!!

(last line I think "breath" should be breathe")

    Beautiful <3

I want to leave a better comment than my normal ones, but I found myself losing words.
There is a huge amount of sadness in this poem.
    Take care <3

I'm so glad to see you writing again, dear. Everyone grieves differently, sometimes you just have to shut the world out and cope, and when you're ready, (and this is proof that you are) you will step back out and get some fresh air. <3

This is absolutely breathtaking and like you said, pure emotion. You wrote from the bottom of your heart and it shows... and my heart hurts for you because I've been down that road before.
