A Poem About My Dear Friend

by Rissa Moe   Jul 17, 2013

Deviant acts of play
keep many pushed at bay
Creative sense of power
slowly destroys
the self beautiful flower
Little by little,
petals fall to ground
People questioning
your level of sound.

To be loved is a thought
dreamed up only in dreams
Listening to voices
affects choices and pleas
Silently screaming,
you give up and you lean
Further from kosher
to give up what you've seen

Pain is your virtue
and love is your sword
Reality shapeshifting
give more sparkle and shine
Laughter disaster,
seems when you're at prime

To be loved and caressed
is the deffinate test
Should shine bright
despite being cruel
To fight boldly for life
you sacrifice and suffice,
mistakes are nature
for all human beings

Pleasure in pain,
dyings a game-
concered lovers turn their backs
I know what you're missing
it starts with some kissing,
Affection and fight for a right,

To live true as in song
you stumble along
trying to find right
in everything that's wrong

Simple and free
live that and you'll be,
content and repent-
beautifully free.
Follow in me,
Believe and you'll see
You are my friend,
who is just like me.
Live free.
