Commit

The word commit has many varied meanings and uses,

You can use commit as is or committed for instance,

Some know the meaning while others seem to shy away,

You can commit or your committed to whatever you want,

For this purpose I shall use the word committed for this,

I met a woman fell in love with her as she did with me,

For two people to discover they are in many ways alike,

We know what each are saying before the sentence is done,

We've gone through the rough spots for we are stronger,

It only makes love ever more meaningful easy to commit,

We know what to do as well not to from life's experience,

With age comes wisdom, security, comfort, with each other,

To commit to her was not hard, albeit a little hard for her,

Over this short span of time we both shared inner feelings,

Our lives are empty apart, full when together as we are kids,

One day we shall announce to one and all our commitment,

I am committed to her with all my being, she committed to me,

So the word committed has a special meaning for her and I,

Moving through life together our love grows every single day,

Committed to each other with every meaning of the word I say.
