Halloween

by Saul   Aug 13, 2013

Cold putrid currents wafting up from the cracks of the deep earth

The dead stir to life the dank ground witnessing their second birth

The thoughts that consistently run through their rotted reanimated head

Is to find those they envy to make those living a member of the dead

Heed this warning for the newly revived are not alone

For those whom have lost their flesh now haunt in their spectral form

As this season tears the thin membrane between reality and the unknown

Evil forces gathering in power for a year festering and have grown

Once again threatening the faithful trying to drown us in gloom

Trying to force us to leave our world above and to join them in their tomb

I ask that you all fight and though this battle may take its toll

Remember you fight for more than your life, you're battling for your soul
