I love this poem because you can see how much heart you put into it. I love that the whole is sadness and nothing else really. I love how you seem to decribe your heart as a person and not just a thing. A heart can be sad in its own way and you paint this beautiful picture of how a heart got hurt from something really unexplained. I guess just from being hurt all your life your heart is one with you.

Words can hurt more than people think they do. Even meaningless sex hurts too when you are or were in love with this person. Hurt really does go deep into your soul and it lingers there until depression comes along and then the downfall comes. I love the smile of blood because the means that you may be smiling on the outside but no one knows there is a war going on inside of you. Our hearts want love but we must also protect ourselves first. I love as I said the sad feelings this brings because you got your message out. 5
