A drunken crush

by SEAN   Jan 16, 2014

Pin pricked senses and trembling twitchy lips
involute cast iron tongue, weighted and forlorn
a moment terrifyingly stretched, afraid to catch a glance

a whole widens beneath you
a gaping cataclysm
whirring, howling
a fantastic monstrous mechanic

the dizzy skull rocks back and forth
the throat froths and the teeth chatter
and before you plummet you dare to glimpse
the fiercest and bluest of eyes, ephemeral and glorious
