Nails And Thorns

HE was sent here to help, Your so beautiful Jesus,
So unholy we are and that's not how HE sees us,
The goodness HE brought we can only now read of,
All HIS Healing and Wisdom is what we all are in need of,
HE was brutally beaten for The Truth that was spoken,
HE was slandered and mocked for just fixing what was broken,
The Crown that HE wore was acquired with pain,
HE was innocent and pure but like a criminal was slain,
The Cross that HE dragged now a Simble Of Freedom,
What was used to condemn was impossible to beat HIM,
The very hands that were pierced are what holds us together,
All The Blood that HE lost is what helps us get better,
We love YOU King Jesus, exalted be Your Name,
Lord we honor Your Holy Righteousness and the reason that YOU came.

    I am blown away by this poem! It is perfect! The lines about His pierced hands are what hold us together and that the blood He lost is what makes us better are such powerful truths that I have never seen in that light before!
