Fogy roads stretched to mark
the distances that were crossed,
but deep within it all prevailed to
showcase the abjectness of sins.

-
In a moment of silence,
will it be regret or forget?
-

So where are the lines that should define
the meaning of the place where we stand?
And how far could one stretch his step for
it to be dismissed as a way of going back?

The point of no return is reached
when bounds of sanity are unleashed.
and there is always someone deceived
when there is an agenda to be achieved.

Count the roads before you walk
because life doesn't offer you a
button to reset..

This is great meme!! Questions, the statements, really thought provoking! Love the bit about how far can one stretch his step before it's considered going back...that is excellent...kinda inspires an idea out of me.

I too have missed your writing, and I like the deepens in this one. I love poetry that makes me think. In fact, it's hard to even comment right away because I need to go read this again and rethink about it haha.

    Nice write.

Meme, I have missed your writing so much!

    Fogy roads stretched to mark
    the distances that were crossed,
but deep within it all prevailed to
    showcase the abjectness of sins.

    - very creative wording here to open the poem, and leaves the reader having to read on to find put more on this story.

    -
    In a moment of silence,
will it be regret or forget?
    -

0 I love questions in poetry, and this here not only leaves a question, it also leaves a statement too, about what you were thinking.

So where are the lines that should define
the meaning of the place where we stand?
And how far could one stretch his step for
it to be dismissed as a way of going back?

    - Keeping up the theme of the questioning here, really working. It is showing your thought process and is like we are trying to analyse the situation as you describe it to us.

The point of no return is reached
when bounds of sanity are unleashed.
and there is always someone deceived
when there is an agenda to be achieved.

    - loving the wording! This is getting to the truth now, the raw stuff, the sadness.

Count the roads before you walk
because life doesn't offer you a
    button to reset..

    - I like your ending, it sends out a clear message that we cannot change the past, and we either chose to accept it and forget it, or to regret it which only makes us live in it.

    enjoyed this. Well done.

Wow this is powerful. Sometimes in life we don't chose carefully our path and unfortunately we can't go back in time. I wished there was a reset button. This write deserves to win

This is also very powerful meme. I like the way you started this out. It seems like here you traveled the distance with a certain person and you have come to a point where you have to think about your life. The second stanza asks a nice question. Silence can be deadly and in this I think you are saying that memorieswill become regret or you will firget them and hope move on. The end of the poem is great because itseems like you cchoose to be free and you took a shot at this person because they walked out of your life. Beautiful write
