This is flawless. Poetry can capture beauty equally as well as art can (as you've shown).

The way you write, in paragraphs rather than typical stanzas, makes your work all the more original. It's the perfect balance between a descriptive piece of writing and a standard poem.

Your writing style is semi-colloquial "As graceless as it may sound..." "Quite frankly..." which creates a more personal feel, and even despite that your writing is so elegant.

    Love it, 5/5 :)

I love this new one Chels. So much inside of it. I love te story and how the poem is written on someone that doesn't even know someone else has acknowledged them.

I really like how you use the comparison to art, but then give examples. With the artists. But also show honesty in that you have never really been a follower of art- but you can't help use it to describe the beauty of this person.

Which leads me to your other touching long in the ending of the poem, that you talk about their beauty and how it should not be overlooked. It makes me think that beauty is only beauty if it is acknowledged. I think people have to grow up hearing that they are beautiful, in order to believe it.

I like how you ended with the 1 heart, 2 eyes, and 3 words! Very clever and creative and just left it with a very nice soft tone to finish.

    Enjoyed the read. :)

I love this poem because I am a big fan of art. Great artists were not noticed until they passed on. That's when everybody recognized and appreciated their master pieces. I guess same goes for love.
    Great write
