Destiny

by Court   Mar 26, 2014

Say a prayer for me
cause I can't breath

you're all I see
impatiently

waiting for me

this life I live
give all I give

Still always there
sometimes, I'd swear

waiting to begin

How can it be?
Nothing more to see

no longer there
yet still I stare

waiting for an end

did it ever begin?

This life we lead
so full of greed

impatiently
waiting to be free.

these chains we make
yet still we break

floating once again

take heed, my friend
for the cycle's yet to end

these tales we spin
begin again

and lead us to our fate

hope and shame
tis all a game

destiny is what it seems

yet always ours

to create
