The Leak in Existence (Part I)

by Smaccams   Apr 23, 2014

Grazed will be
the knees of
our souls, As
we leave this
earth and return,
In a never-ending
battle of constant
renewal.

The borders of
hell, heaven and
earth remain barbed,
As they won't
make it easier
to reach past
the sickly cloud
of purgatory.

We have found
out their golden
ways, Forcing even
the wisest to
go through all
foolish methods necessary
for equilibrium to
sustain.

I am surprised there are not comments on this piece. You wrote it with an interesting outlook and a unique use of description. The flow seems a little choppy in the final stanza but is otherwise pretty well done. The word choice was interesting and added a sort of... tone to the piece that is more than typical tone or voice -well done. I also enjoyed your style for this write.

    Well penned.
