Move On

by Dominique Lewis   Apr 25, 2014

Lift your head dear one,
Pick yourself up and walk,
Know that this battle you won,
Don't be in such a shock.

Move on like the hero you are,
You completed this on your own,
You have raised the bar,
And you didn't even break a bone.

Stay strong and keep that head held high,
You deserve this glory,
There is no need to be shy,
Carry on with your story.

Thank you. It is indeed simple, but this message is something that I, and many others, need to hear. I do not know if you wrote it for "Me", or for an individual in particular -- but I do not care. Thank you.

I like the simplicity in this poem. Still delivers your message just as strong as if you were saying it. Great Job!
