Peer Pressure

by Gasttlee   May 15, 2014

Peer
is often a complicated, driving force
difficult to steer.

Pressure mounts
like a mountain out of a molehill.

You are often caged
like a rat in a maze
trying to find your way.

All minds are equipped
with various weapons
to cut to the chase.

Attitudes differ
and can be clouded.

The journey is long
and never ceases
to work your way.

You move forward
with your grace.

Open-mindedness is the key
to unlock many worlds.

Easier said than done,
but through your power
lies might,
for you will survive.

Don't give into peer pressure,
for it will ruin you beyond measure.

Very well done. Haven't really read many poems about the subject. Very unique and creative :).
