Lotus Perfume

by Ridge   May 20, 2014

I stand under your lotus perfume
I stand before your storming virtue
I watch you imprison light into a capsule
My mind is swollen from your incertitude

I cannot draw the azure sky
I can apply a stimulus to your nano tune
I can't seem to stop looking at your elegant allure
My mind is hurt when I search you

I can't keep up with your ambivalent attitude
My thoughts are clad and my face damped of solitude
I can't contain my emotions
My mind is swirling in a stream of uncertainty

I am content in satisfying your caprice
I can't keep in patience and tolerance
I'm stuck inside this labyrinth of vagueness
My mind is disturbed by your values

Looks can be deceiving and as you get to know a person that is when the nature of their true self emerges. Nicely penned.
