Her

by DarkNDangerous   Jun 2, 2014

Demanding the depths of malicious sin
Eyes glaze over with desire
Marauding on the goddess of the weak tallies a win
Demonizing flames will only take you higher

Fingers of arctic upheaval touch and mold
Trace the sky with darkness
Altering her to an existence so cold
With a soul obscure and godless

Left with satisfaction and completion
Walks away from the disaster
Her humanity shattered by a repulsive cohesion
His thoughts connecting to a god or master

Her innocent essence that once remained
Is buried with the ashes of an angel
Haunted with the thoughts of being restrained
Entering the world unstable

Wow! This is really good. I love your descriptive and knowing the subject matter it's hard to digest. Glad to know fellow survivors. Take care.

Ah! This one! This one I like very much! The vast vocabulary used to form very vivid pictures is absolutely well-done!

The big picture -- the imagery and the play you forced into my head -- is indeed dreadful; intense; and most of all exciting!

But the first stanza... I could speak for hours about it, because in my opinion it made a good poem great. Trying to explain this sensation of experiencing that stanza in particular for the first time would be impossible. It's... Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

Great write! I'm looking forward to seeing whereto your potential and talent will lead you.
