She left tracks

by joseph santacruz   Jun 28, 2014

I bumped into my friend the other day
didnt know just what to say
should have turned and ran away
Im the loser in this game she plays.
My disabled heart screamed No! Fool Danger!
as she looks right through me like Im a stranger.
She tries to tell me white is black as she takes the shirt right of my back.
She rocked my world once again
she is steele Im rusting tin.
Once again we are apart.
Cupids arrows find my back miss her heart.
She thinks she needs anothers space
Its clearly scribbled all over my face.
My other head screams for her and shes nowhere
Its touch and go,I need intensive care.
With my slanted self I have to level
to have her again I would *low the devil.
Gone now and she left tracks
a shady place needs this man of wax..
I dont quite know what it is she stole
Im an empty space with out my gaping hole.
A penny for her thoughts? I have a dime
not enough,
game runs overtime.
I request an encore for a sad song
sometimes things just get put away wrong.
She is my heroin: why do I flirt?
To feel something......Its always hurts.

It's so hard when the one you want the most just will not stay around for you-turns love into agony. Well done-

This is a very potent piece. It reminds me of Morrissey's Black Cloud.
"I can woo you, and I can amuse you, but I cannot make you mine"
    5/5 for feeling and delivery.
