Polar-Bi The Sea

by Maple Tree   Jul 14, 2014

She balanced a smile
on the edge of a cliff,
by the sea.
Her toes arched
for the ache of letting go
while gripping a throat of blue waves.

Oceanic voices cast doubt
amongst her actions
and yet she slapped
the innocent while
adorning a crown
upon her head.

Sand tasted like
whipped cream upon
her tongue,
but saltwater clams
sang in unison
of her true intentions.

She balanced a smile
on the edge of a cliff,
by the sea....

medicating a frown
while I drifted upon
the waves of silence.

~Anaid's Melody~

Authors Note: Bi is spelled the way I meant it to be spelled, Cryptic for Bipolar Disease.
