Ivette, Such Rapture, On Me, You Bestow... (Bowlesian Sonnet )

by Robert Gardiner   Sep 1, 2014

Ivette, Such Rapture, On Me, You Bestow...
(Australian/Bowlesian Sonnet )

Ivette, Such Rapture, On Me, You Bestow.
You Play, With Ecstasy, Upon, My Soul.
Amongst, Your Presence, In Heaven, I Stroll
In Rhapsody, You Leave Me, Ever So

Such Bliss, You Bellow, As Nothing Before.
Your Siren Song, It Calls Me, Ever Fourth.
I'm Drawn, To You, Like A Compass, Due North.
No Bewitchment, Out There, Such As, Your Lure.

No Such Wonderment, As That You've Given
Sublime, The Delight, By You, I'm Left In
Your Magic, Splendor, Leaves Me, Reveling.
No Pleasure, Out There, Such As, Your Heaven.

Intoxicated, So, I Am, By You,
Exhilarated By, Your Every Hue...

What a breathtaking Sonnet! A love poem crafted in a difficult and unique sonnet, just beautiful!
Very elegant and heartwarming at the same time, just a way a sonnet should be. I really like and admire the uniqueness of this poem as well!

Robert, You truly highlighted this form... its magical beauty is breathtaking...

I am all for supporting each writers individual style, so please just know this is my own personal opinion: Not really a fan of each word capitalized... nonetheless, this is beautiful... and I'm nominating!
