Blooming cacti
Smiles in adversity
With no sign of scarcity

It is one of the loneliest, thorn filled plant that stands all
by itself. As I was reading this, it also gave me an impression of the cacti smiling at its self confidence and strength; the one who is the king of in a barren desert!

Liked this and the shortness of this poem gives room for
the reader to dig deep into his/her thoughts.

I really liked the simplicity of this poem, and also how you describe the cactus, giving it life. I find that most cacti are always surround by barren deserts, and they are quite hearty plants even amongst the harshest conditions. This poem reminds me of when I traveled out west to California, and I went through the desert areas and saw little vegetation other than a few cacti, which seemed to be thriving.

All in all, you did a great job with the shortness and simplicity of the poem. I would have liked, if perhaps, you had gone into some detail about the flowers on the cactus. I have seen a couple of flowers on cacti and they are always beautiful and a joy to look at. Great job and keep writing!
