Exclusion

Ignorance is bliss
To never know happiness
Is to never know the greatest pain
Of having happiness ripped away
People connect to each other
They intertwine
Hoping to never say goodbye
This is a fool's dream
Eventually we all die
Leaving behind pain and sorrow
I'm told I'm the best
Because I put others before myself
The truth is I fear happiness and bonds
I never feel I really belong
I just long for the end
Not wanting to cause pain to the ones I love
Living each day hoping it's the last
Unable to express how I feel
Knowing it's too much for them to deal
Hiding this illness instilled
Breaking bonds
So once it's done
No one will mourn the one that never belonged.

Thank you very much for all your sweet words. I don't think I'm talented, but I weite what I feel and sometimes it helps. Thanks very much for the comments and ratings.

Red, you are incredibly talented,I love that you write from your mind and soul and just let go, your thoughts are so clear and vivid and the way you express them is dynamical and fluid.I can't believe you haven't had votes and comments yet, it's very disappointing that people ignore such raw talent and potential these days.but just know, you have a fan in me,I love your work :-)
