Skeptical of love, that is okay. Pheramones involve lust, love is not logical but it is not how most percieve it either. Love is not something physical although that it is often mistaken as such. I read a book once about understanding love. They did a study once where they took baby monkeys away from their mothers and gave them a choice, food or a robot simulating their mothers that granted them affection. They would always choose to starve, all the way to the point of death. Love is something we can avoid and that looks dumb from afar but is something we cannot survive long without. Even more than food.

Haha that's actually pretty interesting that they'd experiment to prove/disprove love. I'm definitely not skeptical though. I wrote that more from the point of view of some friends I have who hook up for fun and forget about it after a short time. They're only in it for the lust. I'm actually very much in love and she's the reason behind a lot of what I write :)

To be honest I laughed at the first line of poetry. It's a good poem, has great meaning and defines love in a nice way. I like how the words you chose mingle and twine because of the similar phonics. It creates a nice inner music to the poem. However, your use of big words I think has gone overboard to the point that it's a bit difficult to understand. Still, I like your analysis of love in a society which does not approve of these relationships.

Overall though, great job... keep it up!

Thanks for reading it. I guess I did go a little overboard with the big words but I did it to kind of show how complicated love is to the person telling the story. I'll try to keep writing :)
