A Message in Your Inbox

by Everlasting   Dec 14, 2014

I wanted to leave a message in your inbox
And pretend that I was a courier
who galloped miles upon miles
to deliver to you
That which my heart expressed
With a kiss

But a kiss
that only in dreams have your lips
bestowed upon my own
And a kiss
that only in dreams have felt
more real
than that which I had never received
From you

Yet I wanted to leave a message in your inbox
But even though Words can touch a soul
I didn't think
leaving any message in your inbox
would ever touch you
The way I would like to do

With love...

"to delivered to you" - A typo?
This piece is soft. I've been struggling to write lately, and every time I read something by you, I'm inspired. Thanks. :D

Anyway, I'll leave a better comment in the future. For now, well-done.

Touching. I am conflicted, as though I happened upon a love note from my daughter to her interest. I wish to tell you how magnificent a write this is, but am embarrassed at the same time, to have to admit I read it, an invasion of a young girl's privacy.

Thank you Mr. Larry. Though it's not really an invasion of privacy as I have posted it online...
