Fragile

by Samuel Ernst   Dec 19, 2014

Every time I watch the news it's all the same,
Another terrorist group trying to make a name,
War is bound to be,
I know Uncle Sam has no sympathy,
(I know he has to send me)
Because I raised my right hand,
Just to die on foreign sand,
But not to protect the land,
But to so the U.S can look like the bigger man,
How many people must die?
I give this my whole and don't know why,
I can't hold my niece when cries,
All because of government lies,
How can I take more?
Watching my brothers and sisters die in pointless war,
But we march on even if our feet are sore,
This is real and I'm on an edge so thin,
Because we are in a war we can't win,
I guess it's because. .....

We're fragile
(Wish I'd have known)
I never thought I'd be so fragile
(You're not alone)
If it didn't break before it's about to
(We've been here before)
I don't ever want to change
I'm fragile
I don't ever.....
