Permanent Solution

by Larry Chamberlin   Jan 22, 2015

See you crave drugs and money -
dull your five senses, sonny;
gonna file a petition
account of your condition,
then they'll lock you away
no matter what you say,
protecting you from yourself;
pair of scissors on the shelf:
all you need to set it free
and no more drugs or money.

Saffie's challenge, prompts:
crave
drugs and money
scissors
petition
your five senses

    I find this actually suitable in this section for what it holds of irony! It is indeed the permanent solution, and definitely not its best!

    I doubt there is anything harder than being your own enemy, and if there is anything harder than addiction and being all helpless.

    Money and drugs are both dangerous diseases! Ones love for money and ones tolerance to drugs can end your life.

    This should be printed out and shared as an awareness campaign sign because it serves the message for the young and old in a way that reaches for everyone.
