Rain Droplets:

by Scott Cole   Feb 5, 2015

Like dew on a flower
Slowly sliding down,
It rolls off the edge
Falls to the ground.

Shower upon shower
And storm after storm,
As the waters settle
The Droplets take form.

Some shimmer with life
Others vibrate at will,
They all would be fine
But they just can't sit still.

So as the rains gather
And each Droplet grows,
They sway back and forth
Until they finally let go.

They drip then drop
Once and for all,
They all must release
And take that big fall.

They soak up the earth
As they sink further down,
Each one's put to rest
In that once dry ground

For now all is quiet
Until the clouds roll in,
And as the rains resume
The new Droplets begin.
