Broken Abode

by uttAm   Feb 9, 2015

The house that I see ruined today,
its roof finally crumbled to the ground,
has so long been sheltering
the growth of my innocent childhood
to bewildered teen.
Its only been yesterday,
that its dark corners
was my only solace in depression,
it has heard the noiseless tunes
of my melancholy
and witnessed the nights,
whenever fear has subdued my sleep.
It knew the very secrets of mine
the world never will know;
that got concealed in its shattered pieces
along with my dreams
which was framed in it;
It was the abode of my dreams too.
