No Goodbyes

by Beautiful Tragedy   Feb 18, 2015

Salty tears run down my cheeks and sobbing, I wipe them away.
You are the air I breathe, I can't lose you too.
I intertwine my fingers with yours one last time, and pull you in for a kiss.
Salty tears and the taste of your lips makes one hell of a taste, and I love it.
"I love you" I whisper again, and I know that somehow,
You have fallen in love with me too.
I don't want to leave anymore than you want me to.
Torn and hurting, we stand there, hand in hand, body against body,
trying to understand the motives of the world.
Love swells up in my chest for you,
the thought of leaving you breaks my heart, tearing it to pieces.
But we both know that I must go.
With promises to come back and keep in touch,
I get on the bus, making myself hold in the tears.
Getting home I lay in bed and play back every loving memory of you I have.
I watched you in class today while you were talking, and I realized that that's exactly how I fell in love with you: Watching you talk in front of our sixth period english class.
your facial expressions show the guy that I know you are.
I don't ever want to say goodbye to you.
I love you, precious. I will protect you from harm. I promise.
