DEATH (the inevitable)

by marvellous efe/ bwoy Finex   Mar 10, 2015

I was nodding my head to the song they sing
My friend was here too each with a bottle of drink
It was one of the best places
Where you party with beautiful faces

Truly I have struggle a lot, so let me enjoy
I've got two kids, a girl and a boy
Also with a beautiful enchanted wife
And I thank God for my life
This I thought for a while
And then began to smile

As the show nears it ends
I bid goodbye to my friends
Board my bike in one piece
And took a ride through the street

Like the wind, I was unstoppable
Cos I need to get home as soon as possible
Haven almost getting near
I was caught by a terrible snare

A drunken man hit me so hard with his car
Leaving me with both internal and external scar
Here am I, lying on the ground
With my own blood my ginger gown was drowned

He is already dead, I hear them say
But how can my life end this way
There where all making many noises
And I slowly hear their voices

My heartbeat, I couldn't feel any longer
Am I dying? I begin to wonder
Hands all over me, dragging me into a car
Taking me to a place that seems too far

My time is ticking fast
How can I survive from the blast
Tell my kids, my wife and mother
Friends, sister, brother and others
If really this Is a goodbye
Please tell them not to cry

Though the doc tried all they can
I still became a dead man
I know my existence would by many be cherished
But my knowledge, golden dreams and life all perished.
