Run

by yogi73   Apr 1, 2015

Does love run after fleeting rays,
Of setting suns.
Should gentle years slip away and I alone
With the dawn chill and grey.

Still you fade a lovely red amber.
To the cool of twilight blue,
A softly waning crescent moon.
The chill of your departure moves

Waiting for the peaceful harmony
Of seasons, moon and sun.
But our universe kept spinning
Everlasting joy, there would be none

Approaching dawn is eternity renewed.
Star dust is forever,
But separated ways we choose.

Love no longer runs for rays of fleeting suns.

What a beautifully written piece that flows wonderfully and is bursting with super imagery and descriptive writing. Well done and all the very best,

This made me sigh and I agree with the sentiments and feelings you have penned here. Feels like we also have to run after love just so that we can be embraced by it...nice read.
